We’re a quote portal. We don’t paint ourselves. We shortlist vetted painting companies, negotiate partner rates and match your job with up to 3 of them.
How much does it cost to use Lion City Painters?
Nothing. Getting quotes is free and there’s no obligation to hire.
How do you get lower prices?
We send our partner painters regular jobs, so they give us partner rates, which we pass on to you.
How many painters will contact me?
Up to 3. We never share your details with more painters than that.
How quickly will I get quotes?
Usually within a day. Some painters can quote from photos, others will arrange a short site visit.
Painting
How long does painting take?
A 3-room HDB flat usually takes 1 to 2 days, a 4- or 5-room flat 2 to 3 days, and a landed house 4 to 10 days. See how long painting takes.
Which paint brands do your painters use?
Mostly Nippon Paint, Dulux and Jotun. Your quote will name the exact product. You can also ask for a specific brand.
Do I need to move my furniture?
No. Painters move furniture to the centre of the room and cover it. Remove fragile items and valuables beforehand.
Can I get just one room painted?
Yes. Many painters take small jobs, though most have a minimum charge of around $150 to $300.

Do I need a permit to paint my HDB flat?
No, interior painting doesn’t need an HDB permit, but renovation hours apply. See HDB painting rules.
Do I need approval to paint my condo?
Most condos require a renovation application to management and sometimes a deposit. Check your condo’s by-laws.
